La presentaron al público en la sala Ku Club de Ibiza y enseguida fue un gran éxito que aumento muchísimo cuando el C.O.E. la eligió como himno de los JJ.OO. de Barcelona 92

Está nevando, En una mañana fría y gris de Chicago nace un pobre bebé en el gueto. Y su mamá llora.

Porque si hay algo que ella no necesita es otra boca hambrienta que alimentar. En el gueto

¿No entendéis que el niño necesita una mano amiga o llegará a ser un joven resentido algún día?

Pensemos si es que estamos demasiado ciegos para verlo o simplemente giramos la cabeza y miramos a otro lado?

Bien, el mundo gira y un niño, mocoso y hambriento juega en la calle, mientras sopla el viento frío en en gueto y su hambre le destroza.

Entonces comienza a vagar por las calles de noche y aprende a robar y a pelear en el gueto, y, una noche, desesperado un joven delinque, compra un arma, roba un coche e intenta huir pero no llega muy lejos. Y su madre llora.

Mientras un gentío se reúne alrededor de un joven enojado, boca abajo en la calle con una pistola en la mano, en el gueto.

Y su muchacho muere

UNCHAINED MELODY.- The Righteous Brothers. 1965

A fecha de hoy, enero de 2020, Melodía Desencadenada con casi sesenta y cinco años es una canción que sigue estando de actualidad.

La compuso Alex North en julio del 55 para una pelicula titulada Unchained y desde su publicación fue éxito mundial. La versionaron muchos cantantes famosos, esta versión, quizás la más conocida es de Righteous Brothers, del 65. Antes la había cantado Jimmy Jung en al 55. La cantaron etre otros Iva Zanicchi, Elvis Presley, U2, Il Divo...

La película Gosht en 1990 la utilizó como banda sonora, relanzándola a la fama de nuevo.
